Gorillaz Make Sprint Center Debut as Part of “HUMANZ” Tour

GRAMMY-Award winning international virtual band, Gorillaz announced their highly anticipated “HUMANZ” Tour today including a stop at Sprint Center on Friday, Sept. 22. The band’s upcoming return to the road is in support of “HUMANZ,” their first album in 7 years, scheduled to be released on April 28.

Since their first release in 2001, Gorillaz have proven to be one of the world’s most unique and iconic pop acts having achieved groundbreaking success. Their debut album sold more than six million copies featuring hit singles ‘Clint Eastwood’ and ’19-2000.’ Comprised of singer 2D, bassist Murdoc Niccals, guitarist Noodle and drummer Russel Hobbs, the group is best known for their videos having claimed numerous awards including the coveted Jim Henson Creativity Honor.
